The algorithm maintains a running "best distance" that starts at infinity. As it walks the tree, it checks each visited point and updates the best distance if it finds something closer. The Google Pixel 10a isn’t super impressive compared to previous A-series smartphones. In fact, the Pixel 9a is still our favorite Android phone.
